Location Description:Located on Jefferson Avenue near the Renaissance Center. It is also adjacent to Hart Plaza and Cobo and Joe Lewis Arenas.
Opening Date:1980
Commemorative Activities:Every April 24th, Armenian-Americans from the Detroit area congregate at the Gomidas monument in homage to the victims of the 1915 Armenian Genocide.
