Development/Construction Process:The monument consists of a central domed arch, which houses a composition of Khachkars (a similar design to the Genocide Memorial in Edjmiadsin, Armenia). This is flanked by two inscription-stones on both sides. Armenian Martyrs' Memorial Committee Co-Chairman Martin Mahdesyan, Co-Chairman Carlos Taraktzian, Co-Chairman Ramon Zorabedian, Kenneth Baronian, Ruben Chakmakian, Terrance Martiesian, Ara A. Shiragian, John Varadian, Joyce Yeremian.
History of Ownership:Owned by the American-Armenian community of Rhode Island.
Commemorative Activities:Annual commemorations on April 24. Dedication of new addition to the memorial on April 25, 1999.
