TURKISH TRIALS BEGIN.

Governor of Diarbekir First to be Arraigned for Massacres.

PARIS, Feb. 11.--The trial of those responsible for the Armenian massacres by the Turks has begun in Constantinople. The leader of the Turkish officials being tried at present is Keimal Bey, Governor of Diarbekir.

The prosecutor, in opening the trial, said it was necessary to punish the authors of the massacres which had filled the whole world with a feeling of horror.
